「640MB MOドライブ速攻リポート」

よーやっと640MB MOが一般発売された（ICMがしていたらしいが潰れてしまった^^;）のでさっそくレポートします。機種はLogitec LMO-640です。

X68000での使用

540MBメディア
問題なく使用できます。MOfmt・MOformatなどの「IBMフォーマッタ」は使用できません。
640MBメディア
SUSIEを使用すれば問題なく使用できます。MOfmt・MOformatなどの「IBMフォーマッタ」は使用できません。
メディアの交換
SUSIEを使用すれば問題なく交換できます。

Windows95 on PC-ATでの使用

540MBメディア
問題なく使用できます。AdaptecのAFDISKは使用できません。
640MBメディア
少々不安定な動作をします。メディアを挿入したままWin95を立ち上げると認識できない（メディアを抜いて起動し、それからメディアを挿入すると認識します）とか、MOからSCSI HDDへ大量のコピーなどを行なうとハングアップしてしまうなどの問題があります。もっとも、後者の「ハングアップ」は同時に買ったSCSI-HDD「IODATA HDS-1G」との相性の問題とか、ウチのSCSI環境の問題（かなりヘビーな方に入る）もあるかもしれません。
AdaptecのAFDISKは使用できません。
メディアの交換
640MBメディアとそれ以外（128・230・540MB）は交換できません。128・230・540MBは相互交換できます。
